The Cole Foundation offers monetary grants towards the costs of newly created permanent positions (tenure-track assistant/associate professorships) for researchers who have completed their post-doctoral positions here in Montreal or elsewhere.  These positions are offered to INRS Institut Armand-Frappier, McGill University, IRCM and l’Université de Montréal and their medical networks.

The host university has the responsibility of funding these positions and the Cole Foundation provides a grant of $60,000 (for up to three years) for each position.  The host university would then provide the necessary financial funding to maintain these positions after the Cole Foundation’s funding has concluded.

The Cole Foundation recognizes the importance of these positions as a natural outgrowth of the Fellowship programme.
